English as a Second Language (ESL) program in Rome, Georgia!
Rome Classes is happy to announce a new English as a Second Language (ESL) program. Our program is designed for those students who require English language development to use already existing vocational knowledge, training, or skills.
This instructional program focuses upon development of the most important elements in learning a new language:
• Vocabulary
• Listening
• Reading
• Writing
• Speaking (conversation)
• Pronunciation
• Grammar skills
Courses are designed in such a manner that skills are developed sequentially, with the English elements identified and taught in order of difficulty to include those necessary for English language success throughout the program. Included within the program’s interactive guided methodology are a combination of lecture/laboratory, class discussion, and group activities designed to provide English language skills as well as cultural transference.
Rome Classes' full ESL program consists of 24 three-hour sessions (72 hours of instruction in total)! Classes are offered in either the morning and evening.
Upon completion of this course, the graduate is well equipped to assimilate into the United States culture, or play a useful bilingual role in any setting.
